During their meeting, they discussed issues on; global terrorism, Syria’s civil war, ISIS, migrant crisis, Afganistan, supporting Ukraine but also seeking diplomatic peace talks with Russia, and supporting operations in Libya.
Elected Officials: Gov. Jerry Brown (CA-D) signs $15 Minimum Wage bill, making California the nation’s highest statewide minimum wage. Current state minimum wage is at $10 an hour in 2018 minimum wage will be at $11 till it reaches $15 by 2022. David Neumark economics professor at the University of California, Irvine estimates this bill could cost 5%-10% of low-skilled workers their jobs.
U.S.: Today U.S. Supreme Court unanimously voted that state and local cities to draw its legislative districts based on total population alone not by voter population. This comes as the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with Texas in Evenwel vs. Abbott case. A case in 2013 challenging to redistricting of 31 seats in Texas Senate based on 2010 census population. This is unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment behind core principle “one person, one vote”.

The Panama law firm reveals ownership of companies, expensive yachts, luxury homes, and other assets that were not known of. Examples include Russian President Vladimir Putin close associates, Syrian President Bashar Assad, ties to Chines President XI Jinping, U.K., Prime Minister David Cameron, Argentine President Mauricio Macri, Lionel Messi’s father, and other heads of state.
