U.S.: In today’s report by a task force assigned by Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Police Department faces problems with the community as they try to gain trust. “There is substantial evidence that people of color particularly African-Americans have had disproportionately negative experiences with the police over an extended period of time.” For example; 74% of 404 of people shot in Chicago were African- American between 2008-2015 in a city where white, blacks, and Hispanics nearly each make up one-third of the population.

A project to speed development of body’s immune system to fight off cancer. “We are at an inflection point in cancer research and now is the time to maximize immunotherapy’s unique potential to transform all cancers into manageable diseases, saving millions of lives,”stated Parker.
