President: Barack Obama is attending G-7 Summit in Ise-Shima, Japan along with heads of state of France, U.K, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the European Union. The purpose of this gathering is to discuss political matters, economy, and environmental issues. World leaders will discuss topics on Human Rights, Trade, Maritime Security, Foreign Policy, Ukraine and Russia, North Korea, and the environment.
Election 2016: The magical number to win the Democratic nomination is a total of 2,383 delegates. According to the most recent delegate count, Clinton has a total of 2,305 delegates. Meanwhile, Sanders tries to fight through with a total of 1,539 delegates. On the other hand, the Republican candidate Donald Trump locks in nomination with 1,238 delegates. Donald Trump has agreed to a debate with Bernie Sanders. “If I debated him we would have such high ratings, and I think we should take that money and give it to some worthy charity… if we paid a nice sum toward a charity, I would love to do that.” said Trump during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.
Economy: For the first time since 2006 house market sales hit the highest level as more Americans signed more contracts to buys homes in April. According to The National Association of Realtors there is 116.3% increase in home sales this year alone, in relation, the Commerce Department projects an annual pace for 5.45 million homes.
House of Reps: House Republicans vote down on energy and water spending bill 305 t0 112 votes as Democrats attached requirements to protect the LGBT community from discrimination.
World: The Taliban have announced its new leader, Mawlawi Haibatullah Akhundzada. Sine the previous leader Mullah Akhtar Mohammad was killed in the midst of a drone strike in Pakistan this past Sunday. The new leader is believed to be a senior religious cleric.
Scenice/Tech/Health: A U.S. military medical team has created a new device to stop gunshot wounds. The device named “The XSTAT” is made to stop soldiers from bleeding out by injecting several small sponges into the wound expanding and stopping the bleeding within 20 seconds.
Entertainment: In the most recent N.Y.C concert of rapper T.I chaos erupted. As soon as the audience heard gunshots, they went into complete panic. Although there is no suspect yet, police are still investigating.
