Economy: In a report by Goldman Sachs, it believes American oil industry is going to make a big comeback to the U.S. economy due to overseas job losses caused by oversupply. The oil industry can add up to 100,000 jobs, “to keep up with the expected ramp-up in drilling activity, the oil and gas industry would need to add 80,000 to 100,000 jobs between now and the end of 2018.”
House of Reps: Members of Congress will start a seven-week recess and resume until September. Due to National Conventions in Cleveland, Ohio for Republicans and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Democrats. Congress will go on recess without reaching deals on gun control and funding on the Zika virus.
World: French President Francois Hollande spends $11,000 a month on his personal hair stylist. Found in an investigation by a weekly newspaper Le Carard Enchiané, the newspaper obtained a copy of the hairstylist five-year contract…by the end of Hollande presidency, he will have spent an estimated $657,582 on his hairstylist. (Frances per capita income is less than $3,500 a month).
