The White House: The president's Twitter account was temporarily removed from the platform after an employee purposely deactivated Trump's @realDonalTrump account for 11 minutes before 7 pm ET. Twitter's Government and Elections team first said the issue was due to "human error", but later revealed it was an employee on their last day who deactivated the account. 

Politics: House Republicans introduced tax reform bill 'Tax Cuts and Jobs Act' expected to lower taxes for corporations and middle-class Americans. Key points in the new tax reform bill; lower corporate tax rates to 20%, 25% tax rate of small businesses, deduction of local and state property taxes up to $10,000, limit home interest deduction to loans up to $500,000, increase standard deduction for individuals and households, increase the child tax credit to $1,600, and lower number of tax brackets.

Business: Apple’s iPhone X goes on sale Friday around the world starting at $999 in the U.S., thousands of people across the country and world have lined up their stores awaiting the anticipated iPhone X. Analyst believe Apple can close the fourth quarter strong due to its iPhone X sales helping the company reach a $900 billion market cap.

U.S.: Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was held by the Taliban for five years after walking off his post in Afghanistan is on trial facing up to life in prison on charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. In a military court, Bergdahl apologized to those soldiers who were wounded during his search and described his time captivity. Bergdahl's lawyers asked the judge for a dishonorable discharge and no prison time, while prosecutors are seeking a 14-year sentence. 

World: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returns back to Pakistan from London to face three corruption cases against him leaked from the Panama Papers. The leaked exposed Sharif had purchased expensive apartments in London through an offshore account in Panama and failed to declare it to tax authorities in Pakistan. 

Science/Tech/Health: The Tapanuli orangutan has been confirmed as a new ape species, it can only be found in Indonesia along with Borneo and Sumatra orangutans. It is estimated that there are only 800 Tapanuli members in existence making them critically endangered. The species raised questions when it was first encountered by scientists in 1997, after 20 years of studying the orangutans it was concluded there was a third species due to their skull shapes. 

Entertainment: Actor Kevin Spacey is being accused by a second man who claims to have had a sexual relationship with the actor when he was only 14 years-old and Spacey was 24. The latest man has remained anonymous but told 'Vulture' magazine he had a "consensual" sexual relationship with Spacey, but said it ended after a year when Spacey attempted to rape him. 

Sports: CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus says the reason for declining NFL ratings is because there is too much football on tv. McManus told the Wall St Journal, "I do think it’s clear that adding 10 games to the Thursday night package and two additional Sunday morning London games has clearly diluted the Sunday afternoon packages and affected the ratings. It’s just simple mathematics." While other belief it's not being streamed towards a younger audience.
